Do you need to enjoy the blue sky and the warm sun ? Ibiza is an amazing place to relax. What can you see in Ibiza? Island of Es Vedra: This uninhabited island off the southwest coast of Ibiza is protected as a natural park. You can get there by boat from San Antonio or Ibiza Town, while the water sports centres around the island organise jet-ski tours or snorkelling excursions here. It’s a beautiful, almost otherworldly place; a rugged island with a monolithic slab of sheer limestone that crests at 413 metres. Climb ashore and bring your camera to capture the drama of the landscapes and the wildlife including goats, lizards and falcons.
Santa Eulalia del Rio is a major resort on Ibiza, and it is located on the island’s eastern coast. It’s only a short drive from the main airport on Ibiza, and it is the spot for those who want culture and cuisine in addition to beaches and scenery. One of the main draws to Santa Eulalia del Rio is the long promenade that runs along the coast. Lined with palm trees, the promenade lets you walk next to the water and admire beach views for miles. The shopping and culinary options take precedence over nightlife at this coastal destination.
Ibiza’s famed hippy markets can make for a colourful and fun-filled day or evening out, with the chance to browse for souvenirs, enjoy a meal and see some live music. Las Dalias night market is great for a shopping trip and is on every Monday and Tuesday night (7pm–1am) from June to September, and on Sundays in August. Punta Arabi is the oldest and largest hippy market on the island, and is on every Wednesday from 10am during the summer months. Not only does this market have great food, great shopping, and lots of live music and other acts, but it has a dedicated area for kids, where they can have their face painted or make their own souvenir or T-shirt using recycled craft materials.
There’re a few spots to cliff jump in Ibiza because of the rugged cliffs that make up the coastline, but the best spot (if you’re looking for a lower jump that still gives you an adrenaline rush) is at Cala Tarida. The white sand beach is located 20 minutes (by car) from San Antonio. Look for the rock formations at either end of the beach and don’t be shy about climbing them.
