Hyde Park is open from 5 a.m. until midnight each day. Closest tube stations are Lancaster Gate (Central line), Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly line), Marble Arch (Central line) and Knightsbridge (Piccadilly line). The birthplace of Queen Victoria, and home to Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens boasts beautiful marble fountains, and the Princess Diana Memorial playground, which is a great stop if you’re traveling with children — they can blow off some steam here on the big wooden pirate ship.
