Synthetic Oil Change Nissan service offers in New Haven, CT? Nissan’s been on a bit of a small-car tear lately, having impressed me with the Kicks crossover and Versa sedan. The next commuter-mobile to get a glow-up is the Sentra. Once destined for rental car stardom, with improvements in the looks, powertrain and technology departments, the Sentra is now a truly solid contender. The 2020 model year marks the beginning of the Sentra’s eighth generation, and it brings with it a simplified model lineup. With the new car, only S, SV and SR trims are offered — no Turbo, no Nismo.
Just because the offer you get is higher than the average doesn’t mean you should completely shut them down. It may not be worth the hassle to get the cheapest possible price. Plus, a car’s price doesn’t make up the entire deal. Interest rate, the loan term, and the value of your trade-in are also factors to consider. Remember too that fair treatment from a salesperson and dealership should influence your decision. That cheap price tag may not be worth the rude service and swindling from some Nissan dealers. Once you’ve completed all of these steps, it’s time to close the deal. You can decide to either buy at the dealership or have the car and paperwork delivered to your home. The salesperson will take you to the finance and insurance office for you to sign the contract and add on any additional products, like an extended warranty. Look over the contract carefully, and make sure there aren’t any additional charges or fees. Once you’ve signed, the car belongs to you! Don’t take a car that doesn’t have a full tank or isn’t clean. A good salesperson will give you a tour of your new car, including Bluetooth connectivity instructions and an owner’s manual breakdown. You can reschedule for another time if you don’t want to do it at the dealership right then and there.

Like before, the Nissan Murano only offers one powertrain combination. A 3.5L V6 with 260 horses and 240 pound-feet of rotational force is more than adequate in moving around 4,000 pounds of Murano’s weight around the city and open highways alike. Thanks to a standard CVT transmission, it’s also adequately efficient, managing to return up to 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway in front-wheel drive configuration. Of course, an all-wheel drive upgrade is available for $1,600 extra without sacrificing the base model’s above average fuel economy ratings. With no major changes, some of Murano’s issues carry over as well, and by issues we mean CVT droning and not overly enthusiastic steering. Also, a hybrid version is still nowhere to be found.
