Reveal dynamics in personal relationships with transformative teaching… Humans, well, we struggle with that concept. We prefer negotiation over instincts. We struggle to accept that change is important and usually beautiful, if messy. Humans like to know exactly what we’re getting into before we take our first step. We want to know the outcome before we make any decisions – what’s in it for us? Imagine if a caterpillar refused to build a cocoon until it could have a say in what color its wings would be? Or until it was promised a certain flying speed? We might not have as many butterflies as we’d have anxious and negotiating larvae. This is why humans need a motivational coach.
Clients experience extraordinary insights within a transformational coaching session. It’s crucial for them to ground these insights into practices that move them toward their desired outcomes. They are called practice areas instead of homework or assignments because both of these terms may carry baggage from the past that will create resistance. Through coaching, clients are learning to practice new ways of being, new ways of looking at their lives, new ways of doing things. It takes practice to develop new skills and that’s exactly what a client is doing outside the coaching session. They practice stretching and strengthening conscious awareness of how they are being in the world they create.
Transformational coaching now, and in the future, is being shaped by what’s gone before. Coaching, per se, still has a relatively young history. However, already we’re waving goodbye to some of the more dinosaur methods of old. Instead, coaching is becoming an increasingly professional endeavour, as it really should. We’re not there yet. There are still lessons to be learned, and changes to be made to transformational coaching itself. The shift is happening, however, and transformational coaching will in time come to simply be ‘coaching’ itself, with all other types falling under its umbrella. One of the biggest challenges corporate trainers face today is motivating employees to participate in the learning/training process. This is especially daunting for organizations whose training tools and strategies have failed to leverage the technologies that their employees are using every day in their personal lives. To motivate today’s learners who think nothing of playing video games with people all over the world, streaming videos on demand, connecting with others anywhere and anytime-all via a smartphone or other mobile device- takes a lot more than having them click “next” during a training exercise to keep them motivated and engaged.
You will find that one important aspect of corporate training involves project management. If you want to improve how your business handles projects of all sizes, this training can certainly be of great assistance. The efficiency with which you complete your projects will have a huge effect on how easily you are able to grow your business, so you will need to learn all you can. Most businesses don’t realise just how much they could improve the way they handle projects. This training will provide your employees with the necessary knowledge and tools they need to help your business become even more successful.
